Teach, rehearse, then check. Every grade, 3 through 8, has samplers of its three Reading games and three Math games (the first set of five, or 10 of the 30 Math Challenge questions). Reading: start with Professor Labcoat (Learn), play the Reading Game Show together (Practice Together), then let students try Underwater Adventure on their own (Check & Reflect); all three use that grade's 30 reading terms. Math works the same way: Professor Labcoat teaches the 30 math terms, Math Challenge rehearses the 30 board questions as a class, Math Mission checks 30 different questions one student at a time.
